So back when I was in high school I went on a road trip with my family out west to California and back, stopping at all the usual spots; parks and landmarks and touristy things and the like- and for every National Park we stopped at we started getting these gorgeous postcards that were commissioned by the WPA back in the 30s and 40s that they did for every park. My parents have them framed in their living room at home. I got a bunch too, but for the life of me I can’t seem to remember what happened to them. Next time I’m home I think I’ll go on a dedicated hunt, because they really are beautiful and I’d like to frame mine too.
