Oh sweet! Well I’m not exactly sure what she’s into, but if she likes books, go to Strand bookstore (or the New York Public Library!). If she likes cheeseburgers and milkshakes, go to Shake Shack. If she likes heights, go to the top of the Empire State Building (I know a lot of New Yorkers would roll their eyes at this suggestion because it is touristy and cliche but fuck them, it is awesome). I would highly recommend a visit to the Park Slope area of Brooklyn and if your friend is into Doctor Who, make sure she makes a stop at The Way Station in Brooklyn because its bathroom is a TARDIS. You can also walk the High Line, which is this park that was built on old freight rail lines right down the middle of Manhattan. It’s pretty cool. Uhhhh I’m sorry those are all pretty standard suggestions but they’re also all pretty cheap (I’m also not good to ask about restaurants or food if that’s what you’re looking for because I am a very boring eater) If you want anything more specific let me know un-anon so I don’t have to take up everyone’s dash!
